Genre, High-Concept Fiction & Documentary Ideas

ANIMA, a UK-based production company, is seeking genre, high-concept fiction scripts and feature-length documentary ideas with a focus on under-represented talent.

Fiction:

• Genres of Interest: Horror, action, and sci-fi, with a particular emphasis on high-concept ideas.

• Requirements: Projects must have at least one draft of a script. We are open to writers/directors or projects without a director attached and are happy to collaborate with producers.

• Budget Range: Micro (£250K) to low-budget (£2M) projects are welcome.

Documentaries:

• Themes: Projects focusing on disability and mental health are of particular interest.

• Focus: We are especially interested in under-represented filmmakers and subjects.

• Requirements: Documentaries should have an outline but do not need a director attached. Budget range: Micro (£100K) to low-budget (£1M) projects are welcome.

All projects should demonstrate commercial potential.

ANIMA can offer match funding for certain projects and support with sales.
