ANIMA, a UK-based production company, is actively seeking high-concept action, thriller, and sci-fi feature scripts. Our focus is on bold, commercially viable stories that can attract strong talent and financing partners. We are particularly interested in collaborating with emerging and underrepresented writers and filmmakers.
What We’re Looking For:
Genres:
Action – A top priority due to current slate gaps and market demand.
Thriller & Sci-Fi – High-concept, commercially viable narratives.
Fantasy – Considered if the scope is contained, with modest visual effects and a manageable budget.
Budget Range: £500K – £5M
The sweet spot for attracting top-tier talent and securing financing.
Some larger projects are in development.
Smaller projects under £200K are increasingly challenging to finance.
Project Requirements:
Must have at least one full draft of a script.
Preferably no director attached unless they have proven experience.
