Pitch Your Vision to Industry Experts at StoryTown!

StoryTown is offering a golden opportunity for up to 5 passionate individuals to pitch their feature film or TV projects to an industry panel. The process is simple and free – create your pitch on SMASH, including key details like logline, format, genre, setting, and more. No script or treatment required, just your creative essence!

The event is taking place at the Millennium Point in Birmingham on the 26th January 2024.

1. Create Your SMASH Pitch:

- Craft a free pitch on SMASH (HERE) by submitting essential project details (logline, format,genre, setting, running time, status, creative team, synopsis, creative vision, and comparables - although we appreciate they all may be Work In Progress answers)

- We DO NOT require a script, treatment, cast, budget, finance plan, or video although if you have them, you are welcome to include them.

2. Submit Your SMASH Snapshot:

- Once your pitch is ready, submit your SMASH Snapshot to

Info@transitionstagecompany.com with "STORYTOWN PITCH 2024" in the subject line.

3. Deadline for Submissions:

- The deadline for submissions is 7th January 2024.

4. Pitch Preparation Session:

- If selected, attend a free in-person pitch preparation session with SMASH at Millennium Point in Birmingham on 26th January at 12 noon.

5. Live Pitch Day:

- The live pitch in front of the industry panel takes place on the 26th January at Millennium Point in Birmingham.

- You'll have 5 minutes to pitch your project and receive immediate verbal feedback.

- No visuals required.

Rules and Deadlines

Open to anyone aged 18 or above, projects at any stage are welcome. Ensure someone from your team is available for both the pitch preparation session and the live pitch on the 26th January.

Please note that both sessions will have an audience.
